Job Title: Second Shift Painter
Location: valencia, CA
Pay Rate: $21 per hour
Shift: Second Shift (1:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Able to mask parts per instructions.
  • Able to unmask parts per instructions
  • Able to touch up parts on the powder coating line as required
  • Consistently monitor quality of product to maintain quality standards
  • Identify parts for inspection - as required (part of the overall quality control process)
  • Update travelers and input as required per jobs
  • Maintaining workplace housekeeping to provide a safe, clean work environment.
  • Able to apply complex masking on parts per instructions or drawings
  • Able to remove e complex masking on parts pers instructions or drawings
  • Determine the correct type of masking material required

Essential Functions Physical Requirements to do this job:

  • Physical demands (lifting to 25lbs) when needed
  • Pushing up to 40lbs when needed
  • Carrying up to 25lbs (distance) 2ft when needed
  • Loading and unloading material
  • Walking about 10%
  • Stationed about 75%
  • Knelling, squatting, bending, when needed 15%

Skills:

  • Mathematical knowledge
  • Ability to use a measuring tape and other measuring instruments
  • Detail Oriented
  • Able to read blueprints or instructions
  • Strong communication skills

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Understanding of production and manufacturing process
  • Detail- oriented
  • Willing to work late, early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary
  • Team player
  • 3 years of experience masking parts to be placed in an automated powder coating line
